Teach, I am so happy and excited for you that I was going to do the happy dance, glad someone mentioned a spotter! LOL
For some reason, the fact that you both are going to the gym together so touched my heart!

My heart goes out to those two lost young men and their families. As you know, and you know why I say this, it could happen to any of us.

So, do you and Trevor make bets and challenges at the gym?

I get this visual of the two of you being able to laugh together and that is just joyous!

love,
Tena

Teach, I was just reading the additional posts here and thought to myself that we just NEVER KNOW the plan our HP has for our kids' lives as well as ours. I know me, in my human mind, can have it all figured out as to how it SHOULD be or how it SHOULD go down. But then, by golly, if God doesn't go and do what He knows is best in a totally different way. Man, is that not God or what?

So thankful he is doing good, Teach. Just so thankful!

Hugs to Trevor and you,
Hangin' In

Teach, I am so happy to read this thread!

I am so glad that Trevor is doing well. Obviously he is suffering at the loss of two of his friends and the guilt he feels over Matt's death. But, maybe those events will have a positive effect on him and make him realize how important it is to take care of himself.

I'm so glad to hear your news about Trevor.
It's very sad to hear about friends of his that have lost their lives, due to addiction.
I hope someday he realizes that it had nothing, whatsoever, to do with him.
God and His universe are in control. No one else.
It seems that things are finally going Trevor's way. For that I am thankful.
He has done too much suffering, as is, and deserves good things. As do you,
Teach. As do you.
Much love and continued prayers,
Linda

Thanks, Greet;
Yes, it can be difficult living together. It will be much better when he gets a car of his own! LOL! Too much togetherness, know what I mean?
Thank you for your prayers...
You and Outonalimb...

Thanks, Elana;
And a spotter for sure! It's been a while since I"ve danced on the tables!

Thanks, BigSis, Cats;
Master of understatement, both of you!

Moose,
I can relate to your son's thoughts! I've felt the same way myself!

Thank you, ladybugg; lobo; serenity seeker

Live,
We're doing our own thing at the gym.
But, yes, we've had some good laughs together.
As well as some difficult time... but, those, we try to limit.
And yes... I do know...

Hangin'
Man, do you have that right! LOL! In G*D's plan, not mine! And I'm thankful right along with you!

Anna,
I pray he does realize that he does have to take care of himself....and pray for that positive effect too... :>)

Book, thanks to you also...
As they say, pain is inevitable; suffering is optional.
I pray he comes to the realization also. And he now has the meds to help him carry on.
That, and good choices will help him do so.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I'm busy with end of the year exams and paperwork, so I wasn't able to get back to you all till now. But, know that I'm greatful for all your support. :>)

Shalom!
