Be strong and courageous! You seem to have a handle on your plan. The hardest thing to realize is that our No's are the best thing for them. Your No's for your son are life to him.

I have been where you are, SunDaisy and know it isn't easy. But like most of us moms, I found out that there was nothing I could do to stop the oncoming train and that the best thing for me was to get off the tracks.

I get through my days by saying a prayer each morning, asking God to take care of my son because I cannot. Then I trust in that prayer and go ahead with my day, knowing that my son is in good hands.

Sending prayers for you and your husband, and also for your son.

Hugs

Sundaisy,

Welcome back!!

I'm so sorry about everything going on with your son.

You ARE doing the right thing and the most LOVING thing you could ever do for your son...But I can only imagine how hard it must be when its your child involved.

I don't know alot...but what I do know is that each addict has to find their own way. We can't force them before they are ready. Your son isn't ready.

Remember...
You didn't cause the addiction
You can't control it...
And you sure as heck can't cure it.

He's got to figure this out on his own...

Keep taking care of yourself and your husband and let your HP take care of your son.

Much love and support...

(((Sun Daisy)))

Hugs from the mom of one addict to another. Your recovery is shining, and helps those of us still struggling. Bless you!!!

It's sooo painful isn't it?? Who woulda thought it would cause soo much pain!!! Well, that's sounded stupid huh? But I guess I mean who woulda thought we'd end up dealing with this!!

Hang in there, you are doing the best thing.
