I hear the bitter sweet sound of recovery, of acceptance. I think it is so wonderful that you have decided to end things the way you are. It shows what I already knew, you are a very classy lady. You've given this ghost every chance in the world to materialize. Setting it free, frees up your ability to expand your dreams for yourself and your son.

Tears and hugs and admiration for you, limb
I so, so wish I'd had a mom like you, who was willing to do something so hard for me. I would like back the 20 years I spent trying to recover from a childhood because I had a mom whose need for her addict -- and her addiction -- was bigger than her instinct to protect me.
