4 weeks of consistent working

YEAH.
This Friday marks 4 weeks of my AH consistently working fulltime and bringing home apaycheck on Friday. Even though he's messed up 80% of all pay has gone to our household budget and he has not missed a day of work!!!

It has been a long time since I can say this and I am very happy about it.

He is also 10 days clean now another plus.

Because of his newly established work apttern I felt safe to take aday off and spend with my kids. (Today) We've already been to a local Marine Science Center, toured, walked a nature trail, did an arts and craft and Ive spent enough time with my 2 and a half year old to remember why I work and pay a sitter. (Non washable markers all over my dining table, frog lose, broken hairbrush and toothpaste on everything)

Hope everyone has a great day

These days Im trying to appreciate the positive. It seems weird to think 6 weeks ago I was begging him to do day labor for daily crappy pay and now he's back on a good pay schedule and consoistent work like long ago.

We had fun at the Marine Science Center and of course the kids love trails. would ahve stayed longer but my belly started grumbling while watching them feed the reef fish, so that was my cue to go.

This sounds like such a fun day. Sounds like you have had 28 days of "good weather" and 10 days of "Ceiling and visibility unlimited."

Each day like this is another day of our lives that it is good to be in.

thank you for sharing. I want to go to the Bronx zoo in May.

Cinderella!
LOL I remember the days of playdough, markers and frogs too...but this one?
broken hairbrush and toothpaste on everything
I would love to know what the toothpaste was for? To clean up the markers? lol
I'm glad things are looking better for you all.
hugs,

Thanks for the laugh. My 2 year old (well 3 in July) is as obsessed with brushing his teeth as his dad, maybe more so. I have to lock up the toothpaste because everytime we tun around he has someones toothbrush and abig glob of flourescent blue toothpaste. This of course falls off teh brush or out of his mouth, which he thinks if you rub it in, mom will not notice. UUGGGHHH.
