I hear you Aq.
You know something I found myself saying to a friend last night
whom is having trouble with her boyfriend (not an alcoholic just a jerk).
She was expressing the same emotions about it being hard to let things happen because he had been "acting better".
Is it acting, is it real? We dont know. But common sense will tell anyone that history is a proven way to tell how someone behaves.
He may be on his best beahvior, or better than that..someone ELSES best behavior.
But, Aq, it wasnt your choice to drink and drive, it was his.
Its not your choice to set forth the penalty either.
Its out of your hands now, which I know you see. I think you are doing well, and am sure things will turn out the way they are supposed to, and even mor sure you will see if he is walking or quacking.
