shoot - i always try to look ahead a few days to see who's is coming up and i saw this, but have been so darn busy at work lately, it's all i can do to get on here occasionally (imagine that, expecting me to actually do my job)! LOL

Geesh didn't even realize...
It has been an entire YEAR?! I wrote down the date I first started going to al-anon, started coming in here. I thought so many things were going to change in my life by now. I sit here and realize the only thing changed is my inside, my mind. I'm awaiting the holiday hussle & bussle to slow down. Been working 60 plus hours a week and hording money. Attempted a holiday open house yesterday and realized that all the friends I thought I still had, are really so distant from me, think differently than I do now and I'm in a time of transition.
I was chasing my faith, and learned that only in losing quite a bit of who I am and what I believed had to go. It feels like I'm at the bottom of a hill now and climbing back up.
I have so much more to let go of, to give to God to take care of.
In chasing my faith, I've ran around in circles accomplishing a whole lot of nothingness. Time to sit still and listen, slow down and hear rather than asking everyday, "Is this the answer? Is that what I should do?!" and asking everyone else what they think of my life and what the right path is.
Thanks to all of you so much for being there for me this past year. I value each and everyone of you and keep you in my prayers daily.
