What a great night...
What a great night...
I have no idea why he did it...
My husband spent his "allowance" on pumpkins for the kids and flowers for me and take out dinner so I did not have to cook.
I realize that in some families this would be the norm, however, in our family recently, it has NOT been EVER.
We had the best evening I can recall in 6 years. Good conversation and affection and just love all around and no beer and no drama and just sweetness.
Made me grateful for my inability to hold a grudge.

Our recovery allows us to appreciate the rare good and loving moments we can sometimes share with the alcoholic. I treasure those moments. They are like a blessing.
Congratulations on your happy time.
