My Father is passing
This is getting to be too much!
You know the family is fighting about who can attend services, and the poor man is not even dead yet.
My Mother who has been divorced from my Dad for 28 years would like to see him or attend the services.
My stepmother does not want her around and my Dad’s family feels the same way.
In fact one relative said id I came with her I can just turn around!
This is crazy!
Casket people mortuary people, vultures swarming at every turn.
On top of that I know my ex was told about this happening, and still no call!
No nothing!
How can she be so damn cold?

Mr. C...
My thoughts are with you and your family. Consider yourself hugged... it sounds like you need one.
Hospice does do a good job at managing the pain while working to maintain the diginity of a person.
As cold as it sounds... these events of life have little meaning to your EX - they don't revolve around her or her bottle.
When my Dad passed, some of the family who didn't care about him when he was living suddenly showed up like carrion crows after a battle. Just remember you can shoe crows off with either a scarecrow or loud noices.
I with both you and your father peace.
