I was walking into my front door and I tripped over a beer can. Then I was driving my husband in the car and he said "I had a beer yesterday. I can handle it".

I woke up in a panic...crying.

I will so NOT be OK if he starts to drink again. That, or I am getting the fever sickness that my kids have.

Sorry to hear that, Jenny. Nightmares are not pleasant.

I know this might not help, but your mind is just processing all the info that you've taken in recently.

Maybe you just needed to reminded of your boundary.

((jenny)) i think what minnie said above is so insightful! i think she is right on the money. it may be that you are coming down with something - after all - stress does wacky things to us. even tho your h is sober right now, doesn't mean that all the stress is gone.
