That makes sense. I hope she can stick with it. I always hear about people recovering from alcoholism needing to stick with 100% abstinence. I never really hear about people in recovery who manage to juggle drinking in moderation.

I know a bunch of people in AA who practice 100% abstinence, none who drink occasionally or at least none who talk about it. If drinking requires juggling I think the person in question is not in recovery and is trying to tough out being able to drink. I don't presume to know what my wife's relationship with alcohol is, I suppose time will tell.

I hope she's able to stick with it. I don't know if I'd ever be comfortable drinking around my AH again
