Oh Lost! I was following your story. I thought since you hadn’t posted that you had moved on and finally found some peace. This is much more painful. I’m so sorry for your loss. You did all you could. He is at peace now. Sending you hugs.

So sorry to learn of this tragic news.
Hopefully the oddly peaceful feeling you woke up too came from god letting you know that your Ex is finally in a very warm & peaceful place totally free from addiction & suffering.

How utterly heartbreaking! I do understand your grief.

Lost, I am sorry for your loss. You had hope for a future with him again and that future is gone.
My EXAH ended his life last week, I've had 8 years of distance and the grief is surprising. I don't know how I would cope if I had still had hope.

I'm so sorry. This was always my biggest fear all the times I use to find him in motel rooms. I am just so SO sorry. The pain is overwhelming so give yourself time to process, find support, and know that you did everything you could. Sending lots of love to you today and strength.
