I know all the rules, I know all the phrases, I know all the tricks and reasons and rational, but now, I need prayers. I don't need a kick in the teeth, I need a hug. I am tired of feeling alone and I know I am not, but some days are harder than others. It has been rainy here for over a week and that drives me nuts too. He just expects me to forget everything and go on and I can't and I don't want to. So, please keep me in your prayers and I will keep all of you in mine. This site has saved my life, litereally, more than one time. Pray that I will have the strength to do what I need to do and follow through on my recovery and not just "exist".

Prayers going out to you. And remember to take time for you. I know that when I feel like that, it's time for me to take a break from everything else, send Timmy to grandma's or off to a playdate, send Mike off to work or a meeting or somewhere with Timmy, like Cub Scouts, and just have me time. Easier said than done with the busy lives we all seem to have, but also something that we need to MAKE happen so that we can stop feeling overwhelmed.

Hey Tootired... hope you are feeling a little better by this time of day. I will pray for you to have strength. I know what you mean about "just existing" - i feel that way too on many occasions. Sometimes it helps me to just take a 15 minute breather. Take a bath, snuggle in bed with a good book, even if its just for 15. It's like a little refresher. I also totally know what you mean about not forgetting and not wanting to. Boy, I am afraid if I forget, i will get the wind knocked out of my sails again, and i don't want to go there anymore! It seems like a vicious cycle some days.
Anyway, peace out... hugs coming from a sister in the same state!

WOW!! Ask and you shall receive says the Lord. So it happened. I think all the prayers really did help me get through this day. It is gloomy again, but I got through it. I am very glad the work week is here and I know that sounds weird, but I can't take much more time with him. He is doing well and that is great, but there is nothing. just hoping to get through thanksgiving! Love and thanks to you all.
