Moved and rebuilt my little brick fire pit in a better spot, something I've been putting off for months because I've been too busy.
Took a nice cool bath and got my pup all wound up playing chase in the yard..gah he's hilarious and I love the little speed demon!
I sometimes forget how great it feels to just laugh and not be mocked.

Kicking through day 8 of a 9-day stretch of super long days at work. Reminding myself this is okay, can be done & all is well. Open heart meditations to let go what isn't mine.
Allowed myself a minor meltdown this afternoon when I had a short break. Must have been more needed than the yoga I wanted.
Hydrating. Staying nourished.
God brought me genuine laughter. So healing!

Built a fire this morning. It was a wonderful meditative action. Wood chips. Kindling. Logs. Fire starter. A long heavy match. Adjusted the wood a bit to get better airflow, then added another log.
Simple things. Elemental things. Healing moments.
