Just an observation about rehabs & curious why
if i was going to the gym and perhaps wanted a personal trainer or even just someone to help me figure stuff out, what works, what doesn't, i think i'd be looking to someone who was in shape, fit and had experience with the equipment.
if i was going to a restaurant i'd want the chef to be someone who knew their way around a kitchen, which end of the knife to hold, how long to cook a steak.
if i was taking my car in for repairs.......going to the doctor........thinking about having a dying 100ft tree cut down that stood 30 feet from my house.....i'd want the service person to have EXPERIENCE, knowledge, training. don't see why that should be any different at a treatment center...............

I guess some rehab places do better screening than others. Our local weekly POV paper had a long article from a peer counselor...who after work would go out with another counselor and get high with addicts not in the program. She thought it was funny. Hopefully, that's not common.
