Ah Whales, I'm so sorry for what you are going through and glad you found Soberrevcovery.
Being in a relationship with an addict is so mind bending. The qualities and rules that apply to normal relationships don't apply at all.
Two weeks into going no-contact is a pretty crappy time for most of us. Please take care of yourself the best you can. You also might look into the book, Codependent No More; it is a bit of a bible around here.
Also you might start a new thread with your story as this thread is an old one but no worries if you found the Original Poster's story helpful. We all read old threads to find situations like our own.
