It's great to be alive!!

I have had some sort of stomach virus since Sunday and have felt like hell!! I finally feel better today and it is great to be alive...I think I am so grateful right now for my health! Nothing seems as dismal as when you can barely walk to the bathroom. My AH is on day 3 of the sobriety - but, he just got this virus too, so I am sure that helps to not drink (I could barely keep a sip of 7up down). Anyway, just felt like saying HURRAY..I'm alive again!!

It IS great to be alive! Yes, an illness or a broken limb makes you appreciate the simple things in life that you take for granted normally (like eating, sleeping well, walking, etc).
