He's just trying to ruin my day by spewing baseless threats and attempting to bully me. What's new! Unfortunately I could care less about what he does or says-bc it's all lies that his head has made up and everything he does or says shows his true character. His own daughter has already figured it out-per her, "he's a liar". Pretty much sums it up. I feel like all of us here could write a thread titled "my ex is losing his mind" bc that is the very sad reality of alcoholism. My friend, on the other hand, that was creeped out by his behavior last week is bringing a gun with her tonight bc she wants to make sure she and I are protected. Nice. Such is life divorcing an alcoholic, I guess. I met with my attorney today - all is well. I'm safe, the kids are safe, and he's on the police and court radar....if I need help, I'll have it. We are thriving, not surviving!
Thanks for letting us know what's going on... and that you're SAFE. But... a GUN, huh? That's pretty serious. What set your friend off the most? I'm interested bc you may have gotten so used to the "warning signs" of potential violence with him that your friend may be really picking up on!

My friend called me today-same friend as at the practice-she stated, good God-it sounds like you're dealing with a teenager-this is how high school boys act! I agreed-told her this is what it was like during our marriage for the last few years....like I had three kids! Sad, but true. Thanks y'all , for your words and wisdom-have a peaceful night.
