Do not be too harsh to yourself. What is the purpose of social media anyway? Sharing family and pet pics? Right. It is a form of exhibitionism, advertising, "hey, look at me!" Once you post things, you post them for the"audience." It is out there, in public. So, it is not true "stalking." I would rather call it "sticking your nose where it does not belong to." And yes, it is a waste of time.
