Sounds like you're on the right direction! Maybe, if you want more info about it and it isn't mentioned, ask if there is any transitional programming they can refer him to when they call?

I agree with Spalding, Katchie. Remember, their biggest concern at the rehab is what's best for HIM (in their estimation). What's best for YOU and your kids is secondary. I'd plant the seed there early on that you MIGHT need to have some space from him when he comes out of rehab. That way there isn't a lot of scrambling on their end (or utter shock on his end) when he's close to being discharged.
