Pink, time to make contingency plans. Do you have money, can you get the car fixed? I don't like the idea of you being stuck out in the country with no means of leaving if you have to. Also the threats to withhold money from you, and the intimidation.
The DV hotline might be your best hope for identifying resources that you can use to set up elsewhere.

It helped me a lot to talk to them before the time that I did need to remove myself from my house. I don't think I would have called them that night that he physically attacked me if I was in contact with them previously.

I second calling the DV hotline. They can help you get to a safe place.
