Friends Lost
During divorce the lines are drawn - and friends and family go to one side.
I get it.
I thought it was ok to inform ex's friend he was in the ICU.
Wow was I wrong.
I got texts of hate and half truths.
Including that - I never cared.
I learned my lesson - even if someone is seriously hospitalized
haters are always going to blame you.

Sorry for the triple-hijack, merrygoround. Yeah, it hurts to get dumped on when all you are doing is trying to do the right thing.
Know what, though? They don't know you, don't know how much you cared, and it doesn't matter. YOU know you cared.
I understand people maybe supporting one person more than the other (it's very difficult to be caught in the middle), but I never understood the need to be vicious toward the other party. Try to let it go.
