Filing the last of the papers today...
haha I was 23 in 99 Had my first child.
I don't normally feel like crying unless I'm angry. When I'm hurt or sad, I reflect and figure out why I'm this way, recognize it and let it go.
But today, it was just a wide range of emotions. Crying was important.

I had previously cried 3x in my life. I wouldn't even cry when my grandparents died.
So far I have cried from coming to terms with my breakup with the XAGF (most every night at first) and my last cry was one of surrender. I need to work on the letting go.

Yes. I am a Beatles lover. Since...1999 haha (when I was 23). Changed my life, they did. I met Paul in 2005 on his book tour. I'm even in his tour DVD oh yea. My daughter has his name as one of hers. Yea. I'm BeatleChick.
haha
I did do it. I feel better. Had sushi with a friend and sat in a park talking with her. It was nice. She's my own true friend that I have through thick and thin and I for her.
It was a nice afternoon. I feel good. This is all so heavy, but it was nice to take some time off from thinking.

How cool we have something in common, other than alcoholics!!
BeatleChick---Here is an interesting factoid: There is actually a useful physiological basis for the tears. When we experience overwhelming emotions---our system is flooded with corresponding hormones---when tears have been analyzed--these excess hormones are present in the tears (not all tears are alike). It is theorized that tears (and crying) is a release valve (sort of) for the body and mind. (the body and mind cannot be completely separated).
I find that crying is a great way of letting the pain "out". Crying can also express what most all of us are not articulate enough to express in words. Notice how a three year old or a dog seems to understand when we cry--and not even a word is spoken!!
