Useful books I have read....
Books I have read…… when I finally decided that I needed to address how living with alcoholism had affected me, I, firstly, concentrated on the alcoholics in my life. I needed to understand why they drunk, why they were emotionally deficient, why they were doing anything- I read and gained a lot of information by reading all the books- and am not sorry to have read any of them.
However, then I had my lightbulb moment, when I realised that what they did, have done and will do should not have any affect on my future- I need to sort out why I did, have done and what I will do- so I now longer read books about alcoholism- I have moved on to me- Codependency.
I no longer want to be supportive to anyone but myself- so if anyone has any more good books on Codependency, I would appreciate any titles.

Great list!
"I Love You But I Don't Trust You" by Mira Kirshenbaum - it was interesting to me in the sense of understanding the difference between the emotions when you're dealing with very close, personal relationships. It doesn't specifically deal with alcoholism, but many forms of betrayal/broken trust.
"Perfect Daughters" by Robert J. Ackerman - Wonderful reading in terms of understanding myself as an ACoA specific to a woman.
I know I've also read/listened to a bunch of Carolyn Myss's work, but the titles escape me right now....
