Since she hasn't worked in 10 years, temporary support may get ordered. It may seem odd since she has been drinking, but the courts may just view her situation as that she was a "stay at home mom" and therefore needs to be retrained for work.
But, since she hasn't been showing up for court, maybe she'll get less sympathy?
In my state, alcoholism does come into play for "at fault divorce". My AH is being sued for "at fault divorce" and he's annoyed that his alcoholism (and pill addiction) will be in the court records since he's always wanted to keep that out of the public eye.

No show for stbexaw again, so we could not settle anything. It is up to the judge now for a fair settlement.
I hate what she has become, it is so sad. She is going to die at the rate she is going.

How are your kids holding up through all this?
