It Will Make You Go Crazy
You know what I remember being so bizarre about living with my xAH?
I could never have an illness of my own.
If I had a headache, so did he.
If I had a cold, he did too.
I had an ear infection once, his ear hurt also.
I don't even know what that's called but that feeling I got when he'd say "yeah, me too" I can't even explain.
Just UGH.

Ah yes, the typical active alcoholic. The thing is alcohol becomes God, a higher power, the great love of his/her life. Other people simply don't matter. Alcoholics are self-centered in the extreme, self-destructive and have enormous self-will. Thank God I decided life was too short to live like that and cut the ties.
