Today I was able to make myself a sandwich and eat the entire thing. I can feel myself getting stronger. I feel myself Detach from the alcoholic without judgment. I maintain my integrity. I seek out serenity and peace. There is no chaos or commotion here. No one is fighting, arguing, or complaining here. It is wonderful. I went and bought a 4 foot pool yesterday and my friend helped me put it up. It is finally filled and i went for a dunk. How COLD!!!! But it was refreshing and I was smiling the entire time. It is the simple things in life that bring the most joy.
