Kitty and I are going through the same thing right now. My H comes home in 3 days after 28 days. It is a fine line from "functioning" to a passed out drunk, missing work, missing life. I, too became a very hard, bitter woman when my husband insisted on thinking I was an idiot and he was so "clever" with hiding his booze all over the house. Kitty is right it is soooo about the honesty. He/We have alot of work to do when he comes home. If he doesn't do what he is supposed to do our marriage is done. I, too, have done alot of self evaluating during his 28 days and have come to realize that I won't live like I was before. I have a plan in place. Don't put it past your wife that she doesn't have one, too.
