Just to be clear, learning "how to act with him" isn't going to fix the way he behaves with you. IOW, all you can hope to fix is your own feelings, not how he acts, thinks, or speaks. You might learn some things that will reduce the likelihood of arguments escalating (e.g., learning not to "take the bait" when he tries to start an argument). But don't count on anything you learn in Al-Anon changing him. It's all about changing YOU.
