On the road again...

I just can't wait to get on the road again!!!

Last week I had a mini-vacation (okay it was work, but it still took me to a hotel for 3 days!) to a nice mountainous place where I was able to bike/run and have fun with my engineering friends! This week, it's off to....

Milwaukee, Wisconsin?!?!?! Again for work... but it's 3 days and nights in a hotel away from the awkwardness that is home!! My running gear is packed, and so are my daily readers.

I'm looking forward to the time off again - and I don't feel one smidge of guilt for leaving AH home with the kids... and a really dirty dog!!

I got away too this weekend. It was great!

Amazing how much a little distance and different scenery will do wonders for the soul and spirit.

I'm all thrilled because I am driving to Trenton this morning for an all-day seminar (less than an hour's drive).

Yesterday was so busy I barely got a chance to breathe, and I'm looking forward to putting on my uber-casual clothes, driving up on this lovely, sunny morning (only 62 degrees here this morning after last week's heat wave).

I am saving all my vacation days because I will get paid for them when I retire Dec. 1--I can't WAIT to have some time of my own.
