Hey wicked

Last night I dreamt that you, me and a monkey were flying through K-mart and the monkey said, "Hey, what happenned to wicked?" so we slowed down and circled around and found you looking at some crazy plastic platform shoes and the monkey said, "those won't fit you, let's go."

What. The. HELL???

Okay, after some serious thought, and some coffee, I am going to use my super celtic powers on this one.
when i was in high school, (late 70's) platform shoes were the style, and i loved to rock my platforms. i was 5'8" anyway with long legs, and lemme tell ya, they made me feel pretty powerful and i got the looks from the guys.
so, i am not a teenager anymore so platforms dont "fit" me or my lifestyle, but I could still be that powerful beautiful feeling person again. dont need the outside trappings, it is and always has been inside me.

flying through kmart represents total freedom to me. i do love kmart, i admit it. i can walk to the kmart behind my apartment building, wander around for a time and feel serene. dont have to buy anything, just look around.

now, the monkey part, that is on you lakota woman. what does a monkey represent to native americans? are there native monkeys in north america?
are they used as a spirit guide?

i checked the celtic animal guides, and according to my birthday, mine is a fox.
so, when flying foxes start going with us, i think we must bring our powers together and take over michigan, and then the world.

wickedly
beth

Oooo ooo!!! Can I take a stab at the monkeys? (pun unintended)

I think that they're representative of the monkeys in the Wizard of Oz. You're Dorothy and you clicked you ruby red platform heels together to go home because Wicked really touched you (and me) with her share to Elima (?) and reminded you (and me) of our home life many years ago. Your brain (and mine) really identified with her heart felt description of having an abusive father, and it felt home like?

Or....

something else entirely......

Which are you Pinky or the Brain? Can I help take over the world?

Yes, Cymbal, you can help us take over the world, but we're starting with Michigan. Unless you want to start in your home state...

Who is Pinky? What Brain?

YouTube - PINKY AND THE BRAIN theme song

I think you'll like them! They're kind of quirky.

Did you laugh?

Oddly enough, I just tried on a pair of platform shoes at Kmart.

I really did.

These were blue and white checkered, iirc. With the brown hemp/string type stuff wrapped around the heel/platform.

I'm looking for a pair for halloween, I plan on going as a disco queen

We usually post the "popcorn eating" smiley when we're enjoying the post, waiting for what comes next...like a good movie

I'm with ((Barb)) - thoroughly enjoying this thread, and waiting for more!

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Impurrfect,

Barb may not know it, but she could be part of some other dreams.
My daughter and I were watching a NatGeo special on Glacier National Park.
How the glaciers are melting and such. They mentioned the Continental Divide. I said, "Ya know MB, I know someone who can see the CD from her window from the recovery forum." (i only mention this forum once or twice a day, not too bad )
She said, "Really?" and had this look of wonder on her face.
Then we started talking about what she was going to school to study, I said, you would enjoy working outdoors like that.
She said I would like that. Study to save the planet, climb trees, count bears, put game cameras on trees, trudge through the lakes and streams.
She sounded very excited about something, the first time in a long time.

So, I had a dream last night about my daughter saving the planet one mountain at a time, and it all started with barb saying she could see the continental divide months ago.

See how my brain works? It is all connected, somehow, someway.

Impurrfect, two of my children were born at Fort Gordon GA, so that makes you part of it too.

All we need to know now are your animal spirit guides!

I had NO idea what "animal" I was, so just looked it up. Apparently, I'm a swan? I just missed being a cat by a month I really thought I'd have to be part cat, since my 3 cats seem to try to communicate with me, but I don't understand "meow".

How cool about the CD and ((Barb)). My family knows all about "my recovery board" and several of the people here. They don't know WHY it works, but are very glad it does!!

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Yes I also talk about you , and hey transform, my mom and my friends are very interested in you, your heritage, he elders you consulted one day.... we have never met a native american but the few things that we know are very interesting and oriented to nurturing the spirit...

Impurrfect, I am a cat!! *****!! I didn't know the celtic zodiac existed.

I know I am a "Blue lunar.. MONKEY" in the Mayan zodiac. Maybe you are a feline in the Mayan zodiac?

Aquarius+chinese dog+celtic cat+mayan blue lunar monkey=someone really confused.

Maybe the monkey in the dream was a Mayan monkey? here is the symbology

Mayan Animal Moon Sign Batz
English Name Monkey
Crystal Pearl
Interpretation

'Batz' is the Mayan name for monkey. This is the 7th moon of Mayan calendar. You have an inborn ability to adapt to your surroundings very well. You are not afraid of change. Always ready to go with the flow, monkey people know their way around this world. Try to develop your natural abilities to fullest and life will be rewarding for you. You are quick-witted, clever and crafty. You are very congenial and relate well with those around you. Inquisitive and curious about the world around, you want to touch, smell and taste everything. Most of the time you are as busy as a bee. Talkative, fun-loving and mischievous, you make friends without much effort. You are also very passionate driven by an inner craving for liberty. When no one can be found, you are always there to help a friend in need.

(((TC))) - too funny. If you're an Aquarius and a cat, then I'm pretty sure I'm not My birthday is in a couple of weeks, so guess I'll just stick with being a swan. Don't know HOW I can possibly be a swan....they're so graceful. I am not. Anvil and I say we're "gazelles", as in clutzy and uncoordinated, often finding bruises from when that darned wall jumped out in front of us!!

A gazelle and a swan, huh? Yeah, I'm thoroughly confused, too!

Hugs and prayers,

Amy
