You mean what's Lakota for fox? I think its sugilan, pronounced shun gee lah - that's how I've heard it used at least. But I am IN NO WAY a specialist on Lakota language. Not even close.

Never understood why people Go Out OF Thier Way to be jerks! All I know is Karma can be a real Bi*&h and I know from PERSONAL experience! I am so highly evolved now (yeah right!) that I often experience Instant Karma!Ex. " I would NEVER enable anyone by buying cigarettes for them" A week later my kids on the couch detoxing from heroin and buying her cigarettes seems like a real good idea...I TRY to watch it, but it always comes back..bet it will with the little rich turds too!

I, as have many others, have read your posts and they have helped us so much.
We all are going to have bad days and good days. But with this forum, of which you are such a helpful member, we know this is normal.
I come from a dysfunctional family where my Mom was a fatalistic alcoholic. Most recently we visited my ailing bedridden father and a street man answered the door, alone with my Dad and my Dad was nude in bed in the afternoon. And as The Dysfunctionals we were expected to act like that is normal.
In other words you are preventing your precious kids from staying in a dysfunctional home that only seems to set patterns for the future.
Far more of a gift of stability and love in a home than new clothing at this point.
AND
The little thugs. Ugh. That had me disturbed. My Sis once sat at a bus stop and some college kids yelled out she was fat. Seems a bus stop is a place where people get to be picked on.
My thought at first was: use a cell phone and get license plate number and call police to report drunk college guys with open containers of beer are driving around harassing people.
Then I thought of how I pity the future wives of such fools.
And where I am, in a high school, a really sweet newly graduated high school English teacher started teaching school. On the first day a thug thought to immediately intimidate her by calling her a slt or wh in front of the class. Little did he know that the school now fines students for each cuss word they say to the teacher. What does that say about kids and respect for adults now. His parents had to pay a school fine of a hundred of more dollars.
Hugs and hope you are having a better day today.
