Holy crap Barb! I got chills just reading your post!!!!!!!

I'm still in awe of the events that happened over 7 days for you!

As for the oldest freshman? Don't bet on that!

I'll have a double degree after December of this year and am considering going for the bachelor's in health information administration.

Seriously, my whole week was made reading your post, and I am tickled pink to see you back, dear! :ghug3

Barb, thank you so much for sharing that. I do hope that your share spreads the hope to so many more.

I remember one time saying to my sponsor that I was amazed, I was just about 4 years in recovery myself at the time. My sponsor shared with me, "If your amazed it means you are not half way through and that's good to know. Because if you think your finished, your in trouble."

The promise, "we'll be amazed before we are halfway through."

By the way, I went back to school and then college at the age of 58, anything is possible.

God bless,

Harry

You know I (knew) this...but, to see it all written out in a story....BING, BOWIE, ZING,
ZAP! Brought tears to my eyes too....miracles still do happen every day, and you are indeed one of them. Love you, woman.

This is just AWESOME!!!!
And yes, I agree with the others:
WOW!!!

And I agree with the study in Europe 100 thousand percent!
Here's a secret I have to share: TELL EVERYONE your dreams, hopes, and desires. That is exactly what I did when I was where you are right now and guess what happened? Someone I told my dreams to, made them come true. She helped me get a grant to go to Europe. I backpacked 6 weeks. It changed me. It gave me something I had never felt before: True Confidence.

So, keep putting out all this positive energy and it will continue to be returned to you. Good for you BarbDwyer!!!! So happy to hear all these great things are coming together for you.

Barb ... I want to say I'm so happy for you or you so deserve this or this is so wonderful & amazing ... but I'm lost for words. Just gobsmacked, jaw dropped speechless.

Can I quote a much overused & but nevertheless beautiful couple of lines from the Desiderata?

And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

My love
Helen
