I did it!
Yep, I finally took that big step. No, not the divorce papers. Those were done last month. No, not moving him and his stuff out. That was 6 months ago.
I unfriended him on Facebook and changed my status to "single."
How utterly silly. I also reclaimed my old unhyphenated name on FB. Because, if it's isn't on FB, it didn't happen. Ha!
Such a weird, modern world we live in.
I kept his family on, but they are on a separate list, and can't see the majority of what I post, unless I let them. I had been thinking I'd wait at least until he defaulted on the divorce papers, but went ahead and did it on a whim. It was a "me" day - massage, played with my dogs, visited a friend, and had a big splurge for dinner. (King crab legs!)
The best thing was that I had 2 replies from my some of my best friends from college within 5 minutes congratulating me. It's good to move on.
Moving on, and moving up!
