Thanks for your post Alice. I'm in the same boat. The last job I applied for, when I called to follow up, they told me that 350 other people had also applied! If there are jobs here in Michigan, I can't find them.

Sometimes I think I just need to grow my own food and go hunting while it's still hunting season. I know how to skin a deer, and have a big freezer.

One thing that always always helps me is if I get up early enough to pray. And those prayers are always, Thank you, thank you, thank you.

That changes everything.
