Hey,

Tonight I am leading al anon. This is my first time doing this and I want to do a good job. The topic I would like to do is self worth, since this has been such a recurring theme for me.

Any ideas about how I should start or what I might mention?

The only thing I can suggest is this:

I regularly perform, lead prayers, etc. I always pray first and ask Spirit to reach out through me, give me the words. Always works!

Perhaps you could do some on-line searching on self-worth and pick out a few ideas you'd like to share.

We had a great meeting last night on spending time on us and that we were worth it.

The leader passed a piece of paper around the room and we folded it in half. On one side of the paper we wrote the things that we have started to do for ourselves since joining ala-non and on the other side the things we would like to do your ourselves withinin 3 months time - something to work towards and recognising we were worth it the time, money and focus on ourselves.

I have looked in my hope for today book and there are some pages of quotes for self-esteem, self love etc that might be a good place to start.
