I know that this is the friends and family space, but I'm gonna jump in anyway (maybe it'll give someone hope for a family member or friend). I'm celebrating 4 whole months clean today!!!!!8

Today I am celebrating that I did not fall asleep at my desk! I have Sunday night insomnia and was up until about 3. UGH!

I'm also celebrating that despite the fact that I was a little depressed today I made it through and worked out something I was having an issue with.

LTD...I'm praying you have some news soon!

Today - I am celebrating living, and taking a day off of work!
Also - realizing that I do not take enough personal time out of each day for myself.

Thanks - great post.

I could have written that word for word. My biggest fear when I have that happen is not waking up in time for work! But I did today.

Can I add one more thing? I was going to Bingo and stopped for smokes (trying to quit, but anyway). The guy at the convenience store asked me if I was old enough to buy smokes! Ummmm, I'm twice old enough to buy cigarettes! Loved it....made my day!

Too bad I didn't win at Bingo. Now that would have been the icing on the cake.

To quote King David, something I try to apply every day of my life, no matter how I feel:

This is the day the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it!!!:

I celebrated today with a walk on the beach.
I'm celebrating that my son has been @ inpatient treatment for five & a half months, calls me ea. week and is doing well.
I'm celebrating that my annual check-up today affirmed good health.
I'm celebrating that my wonderful husband cooked dinner tonight.

I'm celebrating that my dear friend that is moving away to Europe this month will stay with
me for a week before the move.

I'm happy that it is summer.

I'm grateful that this post reminded me to live in gratitude.

Today I'm celebrating having my german shepherd's cold, wet nose in my face to wake me

Today I'm celebrating scheduling a couple days off of work next week.

Today I'm celebrating that I'm going to see a performance of "The Producers" on Friday - I've heard it's hysterical and I never saw the movie.

I'm celebrating the dawning of the day as I was waiting for the bus this morning. It was like a personal "Good Morning Joan!" from my HP!

I'm celebrating that I just found out I can take the bus to school for free. That will save me about $25.00/week in gas, AND buy me two hours to read/study/do homework. Amazing!

Today I'm celebrating that I'm still in summer vacation, and I plan to eke (sp?) out every last moment of relaxation.
I just got a phone call from a friend that she bought tickets to "A Chorus Line" for tonight and needs a friend to come with her. Perfect!
Today I will celebrate that I have loving kids and dog, generous and funny friends, sensitive and intuitive sisters who call just when I need it, and a husband that got called in for over time which is great money, gives us 24 hours respite from his larger than life personality (even sober, he just sucks up more oxygen than the rest of us...., but that's a whole other thread) and the wonderful sunshine that God gifted me today...
Thanks God!

Celebrating that my H is now my XH and all financial ties have been severed. I was emotionally divorced a long time ago, now it is legal, too.

I spoke with a lender today to help me determine if I qualify for financing for the new farm. He gave me a green light. The next step is meeting with my financial advisor to seek advice on whether it's in my best interest financially to make an investment in this property now or a similar property sometime in the future.

Last night, I spent the evening picking out a new barn and found one that I know my daughter will just love. It's almost as beautiful as the house.

What was I thinking when I stayed stuck in a miserable situation because I was afraid I couldn't make it on my own? Look at me, I'm thriving! Now that's reason to celebrate.
