A big hug for you. I was similar with my sister. I was always there for her in every way I could have been. She was my best friend and our kids were similar in ages. I havent spoken to her in months due to her addiction and I miss her so much.
I guess one way I looked at it was we are in different places right now and I look forward to the day we can meet again. As much as it hurts I have accepted she is busy doing her thing and I am busy doing my thing.
If you are still in contact with your sister, try to love her for what she is, not what you think she should be right now.
