Thank you all from a newbie

Folks, I want to thank all of you for you post... it has been very hard for me, and my head was spinning, but because of your post... it brought me back, and grounded me... thank you....

I was the guy that posted acoa dating an abused woman... and my handle was "alovestoryhero"

All of you helped me... and made me realize that I have to move on, and focus on me...

thank you all, you kept me sane....

You are working on you, and that is a beautiful thing. Once we know OUR role in things (as hard as it is to face) we can have this toolbox of different things we can try to communicate better, and it makes you incredibly powerful, hero. You'll be a happier man, and you'll stop having these repeatedly bad relationships. You know that expression, "if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten?"

You're taking steps to learn how to do it differently, and that's terrific.
