You deserve the peace you've worked for but reading your post what I noticed about myself is how I can empathize with you AND can feel compassion for your exwife. The anguish she must be living with is so sad. Yet it's a RARE occassion that I can feel compassion for AH. Mostly angry, resentful, feel ripped off. I don't understand it. Am I still in denial about him, or busy trying to control? Not detached enough? Sigh. I have a long way to go I think.

Maybe when things keep getting worse for her, she will look up and see the light. They really don't learn unless they suffer.
My son is in jail. When he gets out, he will be staying at a homeless shelter. It's not going to happen at my home any more ever again. I found my peace and I have every intention of hanging on to it!
