I am relieved that his body was found so you can have some kind of a closure.

I know that the closure will be a comfort to you in time.Meanwhile I wish you peace,and strength and good friends to stand with you.My young son's father died 2 months ago,so I know what a terrible aching loss that is.There is so much to miss....

I am so very sorry that this had a tragic ending, and pray that you will be comforted knowing that he is safe with God. Easter is the time to remember that all our sins have already been forgiven and I have no doubt that he is now a special angel who will watch over you and your children. Sometimes I think that God looks down on an addict and just says that it is time to come Home and suffer no more.
My prayers will be with you and your children as you go through the next difficult period and that your grief will be lessened knowing that God is with you all.
Just know that we are all there with you, in our thoughts and prayers, and wish we could be there in person to hug you and let you know how much we care and love you.
May you find peace and healing and may the wonderful memories remain with you all to comfort you in days to come.

It is hard to contain the tears I had as I read your last note - I am so sorry it had to end this way, but God did answer one of your request by them finding the body.....
Just know that just because he is gone does not mean that you will loose us as a support group....We will always be here for you!

As I sit here with tears rolling down my face, my first thought is you saying he told you he had asked Jesus into his heart...that is the single most improtant thing he did while on this earth. Our time here is so short compaired to the time we spend in eternity. Try to take comfort in the fact that you will be reunited with him one day and that time will last forever with no addiction or pain! I will pray for God to give you and your daughter strength and peace.
