Big BAD news!!! 
So's y'all know what's going on with me, I have NOT relapsed, but apparently my professional board thinks I have because they had a summons delivered to me at work yesterday. Apparently, one of my drug screens came back positive for alcohol in December. So I'm in a big mess.
The only reason I have been able to come up with that this could have happened is that I may have diabetes which can cause a urine to test positive for alcohol. Not a very cheery prospect, though it could clear my name. Please remember me in your prayers and thoughts, people!!

I am sorry that this is going on with you but I know that it will be OK also. I know when they took blood work from me for the shots that I was on. The nurse asked me if I had been drinking and I said NO. She said that one of my levels was up. She said that the only reason they could have been up were if I had been drinking or taking pain medication. I said well I don't take any pain meds except for Tylenol. She said that anything like that could have been the reason for it being up. Anyway I am keeping you in my prayers and thoughts and WE know that you are sober.

Hey Eddie ! you have beaten bigger and better! I reckon if you just remember that you have done " the next right thing ", and just front them with the facts , it must surely come out OK A bit of prayer happening here .
Had you had any cough drops or meds in that period? Mouth wash, fishermans friend cough drops will do it too. research all the possibles, write then down, and go in there with ya head UP girl

But, I'm with the others. It cannot be unusual for a urine test to come out false positive -- especially with diabetes. They will have to take better tests; one than can seperate diabetes from alcohol.
I'm sending thoughts and prayes your way, that this is settled really soon.
And that your serenity is restored.
Let it go. You know you cannot control whatever the board does. And you know your on the right path. So, let it go and just continue what you're doing. The best revenge is living well, right?

I am going to get my blood sugar checked soon. I am very careful about not consuming ANY alcohol in meds or food, so I don't think that's the reason. I obviously don't want to be diabetic, but in a way it would be a relief, you know?
My husband is not handling this situation well. He is enraged actually. The guy with the professional recovery program I'm in, who is supposed to be on my side, has not been communicating with me at all. Hubby wants to kick his a**. lol. I do, too, but I don't reckon that would help anything.
