I was pretty depressed when I was drinking too. It went away with continuous sober time.

Last time you were here you were trying to taper off. How did that go? You still drinking?

Living, to put it bluntly. I know things get better so I won’t do it but also need to not feel this way. I’ll never be able to to explain eaisly, can’t even do that to one of my best friends as it’s way to complicated

Just tired of being miserable, it’s not like I don’t try, then ugh I can’t explain it. It’s been the same my whole life, everything always is, I don’t know like “fire fighting” if it can go wrong it will basically. Just had enough now

I phoned people Friday Dee, that are coming to help with one issue, they are coming Wednesday, but today another thing happened and like I just wrote, fire fighting, but really really upset about today’s thing. I already had enough crap to deal with

By the end, drinking left me with that mindset even when I wasn't drinking.

It took 3 months or so for me to relaise the despaior I felt was alcohol related rather than just part of me.

Do you think that could be a factor for you too Room?

This isn’t really about alcohol. Obviously I’m an alcoholic or would not be here, on this site, the problems in my life right now are not of my own doing.
