Ya'll are rid of me...
at least for 30 days. Entering rehab tomorrow without any support (financially or emotionally) from my spouse. I know most here don't care, but this is a big deal to me and a big expense my parents are forking over. I hope you can at least hope I succeed rather than think I'll be like many of the failing spouses represented on this board. Hope should always be championed. I wish you all solace with you rproblems too. Peace out.
I'm sorry you feel you were badly treated here babescake.
I think early recovery is a pretty emotional time for everyone - addicts and families alike.
who knows - you might see things differently in a month or two.
I'm sure everyone here wishes you the best, and again, I wish you well
See you when you get back

Babescake, I am an alcoholic myself but I like to read the friends and family posts to see from the other side and I have read a couple of your posts. I personally would like to wish you all the luck in rehab. I am only 6 weeks sober myself after tryibg and failing to quit soo many times. I am literally scared out of my mind to ever drink again. after what my last binges brought but need to start in the proper recovery work now. But enough of me (!) It shows strength and courage in my opinion to enter into a rehab facility. I am sorry you don't have the emotional support from your spouse but YOU are doing this for YOU and YOU will be better and stronger for it! Please keep us updated! Good luck x
Best of luck, Babes!

We do care and we have been supportive even if what we have said is not what you wanted to hear . I hope in time you will see that. I really sincerely wish you well in rehab and hope that you are one of the success stories. You can do this.
We all wish you well. Sometime in the future, when you have experienced a great deal of recovery, you will see that we were supportive, we did care, and what we said was all true.
Best of luck to you, and your family.

Rehab is an opportunity/option I did not have.
Some people do rehab multiple times,
but all it takes is the willingness to stay clean and sober
and the gift of desperation,
rehab or no rehab.
You can be a success story.
Meeting makers make it.
