hello folks

practically ruined my life,i can stay sober for around 6 months at a time,then all hell breaks loose ,as soon as i get a taste of drink,it just gets stupid crazy.i dont have a clue how to control this,it keeps coming back and destroying everything,i just cant do this anymore,

Welcome to SR, littlebigleg; so glad you found us.

Have you followed a plan for recovery, littlebigleg. There is a really good SR thread regarding the importance of a plan. I'll post the link in a minute.

If by "control this" you mean control your drinking, you can't. Better to accept that you can't drink...ever, and work on maintaining sobriety.

agreed,theres no way to control it,im desperate to stop for ever.just finding it hard to accept,tried so many times,but keeps sneaking back into my life
