nearly a week - flu like symptoms

Hi

Did anyone else get flu like symptoms one minute am burning up next I have cold sweats. Blocked up nose etc.

It does not seem to be going away.

You can do it! The best thing you can do is not drink - that will set yourself back to go through it all again - and take care of yourself. Rest, non-caffeinated bevs, sleep, whatever you have time to do to relax.

It really, really does get better. Promise. You can also find a lot of stuff online about what you are going through. This is an article I refer to people to - you may not have extreme symptoms (I hope not!! What you are describing feels really crappy, but is milder discomfort compared to some (me!)) -

Yup, that's how it was for me. Took a week or so for that to subside, then it was on to the anxiety and brain fog.

Stay the course--it will get better.

It could be part of withdrawals, but it's also completely possible that you have the flu or a cold too - or seasonal allergies, etc. If it doesn't get better you could always get a checkup or go to a walk in clinic just to check.

I thought that at first but had it for three weeks then started to get a real fright with cold sweats and burning up continues.

That is what made me worried and quit right
