Less than 2 week from 1 year and go on a binge
I can't believe I mess it up just less than 2 weeks. Last weekend I went out with friends. Normal weekend and decide I can handle a few drinks and one thing after another, I wake up 5 days later not know much what happen. Miss a week of work and asking myself, why the hell I want to start drinking again when I was doing good.
I start drinking Thursday night and talk to my boss Friday, knowing I was on a binge because it happen before but I year ago. I still feel like crappy but more of the line of what will happen when I come in first thing tomorrow morning.
I'm on day 3 of being sober.

Hi ACT10Npack!
Three days sober is AWESOME! SoberRecovery is here any time you need reasons not to drink, and I find it helpful to read and post here for maintaining my sobriety.

I thought I did. I'm just waiting on tomorrow to see what happens. I think they will have an intervention with me.
I'm glad you are back. I hope things go okay at work tomorrow. You had 50 weeks sober, that is a huge accomplishment, what helped to keep you sober during that time? Is there anything you can add to help you stay sober again?
I am a little over four months sober, after many Day ones, and I know that one or two drinks will not work for me either (I've learned this the hard way of course!)
Good luck tomorrow.
❤️ Delilah

Regardless of what happens with work I think accepting what you are is more important.
Many times you've done ok for a while and then drank again in social situations.
Maybe some lifestyle changes are in order, or at least a better plan for dealing with things soberly?
