Makes up for missing the 500.

Let's see, I've been single since forever, only child.

I prefer alone.

In case I hadn't made that very clear.

I love to travel alone. I meet the most interesting people. Much better than travelling with someone who doesn't talk, or worse - who is no fun.

I'm still listening to the James Taylor string that Mesa linked earlier. I love it

I don't know if it's my ISP or SR (or me?) but the video isn't showing, so here's the link:

Woo hoo, Casey! 90 days was huge for me. Seemed like, "whew. Well, that was difficult. Oh, but I did it!"

Congrats!

Congrats Bimini!

Hi Casey!

Sprinkler guy's here fixing something. Our sprinkler system always seems to have a problem. $$ blah! oh....drainage guy's supposed to start on Monday. Found someone to do it for almost half the price of the original estimate. Fingers crossed I don't regret it.

Have the house to myself for a few hours...forgot how good quiet can be.

Whooee, Casey!!!! Way to go! Congratulations on 90 days!

Texting in car? Brynn! We can't do it, it's totally illegal. The couple of times I've tried, I've noticed I have no control. I CAN, however, eat ice cream and shift.

Will this day ever end? Ugh!

Boris. Isn't that the neighbor's cat?

Weas, good luck with the tat.

Well crap. Just lost a whole long post.

Congrats on 90, Casey. It was a big deal for me, too.

Thanks everyone for the nice words.

It's my first day ninety in thirteen years since first declaring "I'm never drinking again" and walking into my first AA meeting on July 22, 2002.

It feels good. Sobriety feels more and more natural every single day. I don't mean this to sound arrogant or overly cocky, but it's just different this time. I know I'll always be an alcoholic, but drinking just isn't a viable option for me anymore. I'm done with that part of my life. If I keep doing today what I did yesterday, I know I'll go to sleep sober tonight and wake up sober tomorrow. It's a much better way of life.

Anyways, off work today. Catching up on some television right now. Watching last week's episode of Rectify right now. Amazing show, by the way. All about personal redemption and spiritual growth. I can relate a lot of it to my own journey in recovery.

Going to an AA meeting this evening. And I think a short nap is calling me as soon as this program is over.

Congratulations casey! I agree, sobriety feels really good.
bimi...I totally relate to the wonders of being alone. People ask me if I get lonely, and I say heck no! For me...it means peace. I've had so many miserable relationships in my life that I'm content now being alone. Relationships were miserable because I always jumped in too fast cause I was afraid of being alone. Now i see that its actually pretty great. If I only knew then, what I know now! Now I prefer the company of my loving doggies.
Time to get back to work.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Casey, I especially like this quote. "If I keep doing today what I did yesterday, I know I'll go to sleep sober tonight and wake up sober tomorrow. It's a much better way of life." It's so hopeful.

Nice one on new tat Ken. Look forward to pictures!

Well done on 90 days Casey!

I make multiple dishes with Quorn Sao. Makes you focus on the spices. Soy sauce makes it delish. Add some lentils or kidney beans for some texture.

Hi everyone else!!!!

So true, behan. I never would have imagined myself either.
I find most of the vegetarian food very good.
