If you're drinking now, pour it out. Start again tomorrow. It's never too late to get sober for good.

I think it's easy to slacken off and take our eye off the ball Julie.

You've had some sober time - now what you need to do is work out what to do to make that a permanent change

Julie, you're not alone.

Dee is right that trying to figure out a plan that will keep your recovery moving forward is what is needed right now.

Wish that I could bring you some blueberry muffins (or cinnamon crunch muffins or chocolate chip muffins) and hot coffee.

You got it, Julie. Have you ever tried Godiva hot chocolate? It will go great with chocolate chip muffins.

Hi Julie,
Here for you-you are not alone. Sunday morn, huh? What's the weather like? Is it cold or warm? I was trying to figure out what drink would be good with those yummy muffins. Hmmmm. ice cold milk? coffee with a touch of cinnamon AND whipped cream? tea maybe? I was surprised to learn that some 'waves' of feeling are normal especially in the 1st year of recovery. I now meditate or pray for a few minutes when the feeling comes over----or post here. Hugs to you.
