It's officially day 7!!!!
I made it! I made it! Oh my gosh. It's been one week since I used. In 20 years I have not gine more than a day or two with NOTHING. I did some hard work today toward making reparations. My mind is spinning with all I need to make right. I feel free. My son cried tonight. He's 16 and I haven't seen him cry since he was little. He said he is proud of me. He said my face is different. In a good way

WOW this just made my NIGHT!!!!! This is incredible!!!! Don't think about everything you have to do to make things right, that is your addict brain thinking too much. Just think about today, staying sober for today. AND YOU ARE DOING SUPER SUPER WELL!!!! 7 days is AWESOME!!! Keep up the amazing work.

Hang in there mama, I'm on the same journey day 16 for me. We can do this. I'm sure you've read this but I read it every couple of days as a reminder. I didn't write it but it hits home......
PILLS ----- I destroy homes, tear families apart, take your children, and that's just the start. I'm more costly than diamonds, more costly than gold, the sorrow I bring is a sight to behold, and if u need me, remember I'm easily found. I live all around you, in schools and in town. I live with the rich, I live with the poor, I live down the street, and maybe next door. My power is awesome; try me ....... you'll see, but if you do, you may never break free. When I possess you, you'll steal and you'll lie. You do what you have to just to get high. The crimes you'll commit, for my narcotic charms will be worth the pleasure you'll feel in your arms. You'll lie to your mother; you'll steal from your dad When you see their tears, you should feel sad. But you'll forget your morals and how you were raised, I'll be your conscience, I'll teach you my ways. I take kids from parents, and parents from kids, I turn people from god, and separate from friends. I'll take everything from you, your looks and your pride, I'll be with you always, right by your side. I thought it amped me up too. Looking back though I'm not as sure. My work is struggling as pills got me through the work day. My job is very physical and I've worked throughout these 16 days. It's getting better little win at a time.
