Lets do this , there's strength in numbers . Hi everyone , we made it thru the 4th... . Lets continue this weekend together . My holiday was good . How did your holday go ?

Hi All, I'm in for a sober three-day weekend. I took today off (most Americans actually had to go back to work today although how many of them are actually doing work is questionable
).
It is hot as heck in Philly today. Got up early this morning---which would have never happened on July 5ths past---and looked around my two neighbors' yards. Empties everywhere and one poor guy laying in the sun trying to sweat it out while moaning in agony. Got me thinking, "We really ARE poisoning ourselves with drugs and alcohol...why would anyone want to be in agony like that after what is supposed to be a fun party?" Reminded me of looking like that far too many times (like every day in the end) and how I never, ever want to look/feel like that again.
Hang in the alf044, and mecanix's suggestion is a good one about leaving the money and cards behind if you can. I used to do that too. Only carried my license and would let friends hold the rest.

Hi everyone, I am ready to make this a sober weekend. Slipped up the past 2 Saturdays ( after having 48 days). On Day 6 and do not want to start over, again. Made it through the 4th and now need to make it through the weekend. Let's help each other do this, please!
have no plans to start after that, either.

I'm in for a sober weekend! Had a good sober 4th. Have dinner plans to ight and hanging with girlfriends tomorrow. We'll see what else comes up!

Hey Ricky,
Thanks for hosting / starting the thread this week
Have had the new shocks deliverd today , already have new mounts , need to get the air con emptied so i can put a new condencer rad and drier in , then get it tested and charged .
Am waiting for anti-roll bar bushes to be deliverd .
Have just got DAB and i-pod sterio to install as well .
All in all a busy weekend planned , i think i might leave the mechanix till next week and just do the sounds this weekend .
So sunny here it seems a shame to be under a car as i'm sure i'll see more things i need to do once i get there .
